The Colorado Firearm Safety Coalition is a group of individuals with diverse perspectives and backgrounds who share the common goal of reducing firearm injuries and deaths in Colorado. We’re researchers, public health professionals, firearms instructors and business owners, current and former law enforcement, military veterans, and citizens who want to help find non-partisan solutions together.
We meet virtually on the second Tuesday of every month to collaborate on firearm injury prevention projects, discuss ramifications of firearms-related legislation, seek improvements to firearms training, and more. Our monthly meetings are facilitated by the University of Colorado’s Firearm Injury Prevention Initiative (FIPI) staff.
Founded by Dick Abramson, Emmy Betz, MD, MPH, Sarah Brummett, JD, Jacquelyn Clark, Jarrod Hindman, MS, and Michael Victoroff, MD.
