The “Colorado Gun Shop Project” was started in July 2014 and was patterned after the effort already underway in New Hampshire. Operating in both urban and rural areas, this project combines the efforts of gun shop owners, shop/range employees, and public health experts to reduce the incidence of firearm suicides in Colorado.
